Democrats and their allies in the Deep State have blasted public skepticism of the unprecedented FBI raid of Mar-A-Lago, but whistleblowers are stepping forward to corroborate growing concern that the Biden administration is in fact weaponizing law enforcement.
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) told Fox News that 14 FBI whistleblowers have expressed alarm with rampant political abuse, Conservative Brief reported.
FBI whistleblowers sound off
While the unprecedented raid on Mar-A-Lago has fueled already deep suspicions of the FBI, there “are lots of good people” left in the agency who are shocked by its evolution into a praetorian guard for the Democratic party, Jordan told host Trey Gowdy.
“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people,” Jordan, who is ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said.
“It’s the top that is the problem. Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us what is baloney, what’s going on — the political nature now of the Justice Department — God bless them for doing it — talking about the school board issue, about a whole host of issues.”
Jordan sent letters to FBI director Christopher Wray and attorney general Merrick Garland on Monday accusing the DOJ of having “shattered public confidence” in the rule of law by, among other things, targeting parents at school board meetings and selectively prosecuting conservatives.
Weaponizing law enforcement
In July, Jordan had said that whistleblowers alerted him that FBI officials were pressuring agents to artificially inflate the number of “domestic violent extremism” cases in order to support President Biden’s talking points about Trump supporters being a threat to national security.
“For example, one whistleblower explained that because agents are not finding enough DVE cases, they are encouraged and incentivized to reclassify cases as DVE cases even though there is minimal, circumstantial evidence to support the reclassification,” Jordan wrote at the time.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has received reports from whistleblowers that FBI insiders sought to falsely discredit incriminating information about President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and his international business dealings prior to the 2020 election.
The rule of law?
These claims, of course, belie the talking points of Democrats who claim the Mar-A-Lago raid shows that “no one is above the law.”
Nevertheless, Wray and Garland have echoed top Democrats in attacking those angered by the raid.
Attorney general Garland has also refused to share the affidavit justifying the raid, over the objections of Trump and Republican lawmakers.
