The U.S. Secret Service, typically bolstered by state and local law enforcement, doesn’t mess around when it comes to swiftly dealing with any potential threats against the president that may arise while out and about in a public setting.
A pro-abortion activist protestor in Los Angeles, California, found that out the hard way when she approached the presidential motorcade as it drove through the city and was tackled to the pavement and arrested within seconds, the Daily Caller reported.
Activist taken down
The incident was caught on cellphone video from a bystander and was subsequently shared on social media by local Fox LA reporter Hailey Winslow, who also tagged the Secret Service, the L.A. Police Department, and President Joe Biden in the post.
That video showed a woman in a sundress with a bullhorn walking out into the street and moving dangerously close to the passing motorcade while yelling through the amplification device at the speeding vehicles.
Just seconds after doing so, however, a police officer ran up from behind and caught the woman in a headlock as he slung her around and away from the motorcade and ultimately slammed her to the ground and wrestled her into position to be handcuffed.
All the while, other activist protesters demanded the police let her go, as did the woman herself, with prodigious use of the F-word in making that futile demand.

Biden hosting the Summit of the Americas
President Joe Biden was in Los Angeles on Wednesday to host the Summit of the Americas, a gathering together of the top leaders of most of the nations in the Western Hemisphere.
According to the State Department, the primary focus of the diplomatic event is “Building a Sustainable, Resilient, and Equitable Future” for the entirety of the hemisphere.
As for the pro-abortion protester, she was undoubtedly spurred into action by the leak last month of a draft Supreme Court decision that showed a majority of the court was prepared to overturn 1973’s Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortions at the federal level and limited state restrictions on the fatal procedures. The new ruling would effectively grant individual states the full right to regulate abortions as they best see fit.
Biden mulls executive action, suggests “mini-revolution” by voters
The Hill reported that President Biden, in an interview with late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel, suggested he was considering executive action to protect abortion rights after Congress failed in a recent attempt to codify Roe into law, and also seemed to call for a “mini-revolution” from voters in November.
“I don’t think the country will stand for it,” the president said of the court’s potential ruling. “If in fact the decision comes down the way it does, and these states impose the limitations they’re talking about, it’s going to cause a mini-revolution and they’re going to vote these folks out of office.”
