Antifa group leader championing ‘defund police’ rhetoric on sex offender registry

Independent journalist Andy Ngo revealed a huge discovery in a tweet on Wednesday, posting that an Antifa leader in Minnesota who advocates for police defunding is on the sex offender registry and had served time in prison for a sex crime against a child.

Lucas Alan Dietsche, the leader of the John Brown Brigade from Mankato, also serves as a National Director of Transformative Justice for “Save the Kids From Incarceration,” a program that purports to end “the school to prison pipeline.”

Dietsche’s bio on the site says that he is a “professor of prison education.” His LinkedIn profile says that he works as an adjunct instructor at Adams State University and covers such topics as prison poetry, and he identifies himself as a communist activist.

A recent comment by Dietsche says that he got fired from that job three weeks ago, however, and is looking for a new position.

He is also the editor of Transformative Justice Journal, whatever that is. And he is spearheading a letter-writing campaign where kids write letters to prisoners.

With his background, it is not surprising that he wants to defund the police, but it is surprising that any organization would have him as a director when he is a convicted sex offender.

Kids writing letters to convicts while they are in jail seems like a terrible idea that is bound to go wrong and lead to more sex crimes against children.

It is not clear whether anyone knew before Ngo’s post that he was on the registry since 2006.

“Social justice”

We knew that Antifa were a bunch of communist thugs, and now we know they can also be convicted criminals, although if Dietsche gets his way, nobody will actually go to jail anymore.

The organization would like you to believe they just want “social justice,” but we know that’s a code word for socialism and government control of everything.

Can someone just keep him away from children, though?
