Beto mocked over ‘Don’t mess with trans kids’ shirt

Texas Democratic candidate for governor Beto O’Rourke was mocked after he wore a shirt with the words “Don’t mess with trans kids” on social media.

Fox News reported a strong array of criticisms of O’Rourke’s message over the past 24 hours.

Reporter Benny Johnson jabbed, “This should do wonders for your poll numbers, @BetoORourke!”

Chris Barron added, “Hi Beto, how about just don’t mess with kids. Like don’t encourage them to engage in genital mutilation or in unnecessary hormone therapy.”

The Blaze added that the shirt marked, “High levels of cringe.”

“Both O’Rourke and President Biden have attacked Abbott and the state of Texas over a recent policy directing Texas’ Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to investigate as potential child abuse the subjecting of children to controversial transgender procedures such as cross-sex hormones and ‘puberty blockers,'” Fox News said.

“O’Rourke’s tweet comes on the same day the Biden administration released a series of documents encouraging gender-reassignment surgery and hormone treatments for minors,” the report added.

The new attempt by O’Rourke to gain favor from those on the left may appeal to his audience but also sends a creepy message to Americans that he supports the use of puberty blockers and gender change surgery for children, a horrific act that literally mutilates a young person’s body with lifelong impact.
