Biden announces vaccine mandates in latest declaration against American freedom

President Joe Biden announced sweeping new vaccination requirements that will impact up to 80 million unvaccinated Americans in a major speech on Thursday from the White House.

The new requirements include vaccination or weekly testing for all companies with 100 or more employees. Biden also announced a vaccination requirement for all federal workers in the executive branch.

Condemning the Unvaccinated

Biden’s speech condemned unvaccinated Americans repeatedly during his speech. “We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin,” he said at one point.

“This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. And it’s caused by the fact that despite America having an unprecedented and successful vaccination program, despite the fact that for almost five months free vaccines have been available in 80,000 different locations, we still have nearly 80 million Americans who have failed to get the shot,” he also expressed during his remarks.

“And to make matters worse, there are elected officials actively working to undermine the fight against COVID-19.

“Instead of encouraging people to get vaccinated and mask up, they’re ordering mobile morgues for the unvaccinated dying from COVID in their communities,” Biden added.

This is totally unacceptable,” the president argued.

Now What?

The speech strongly contrasted Biden’s earlier pleas for unity, as well as his prior claims against vaccine mandates.

“I don’t think it should be mandatory, I wouldn’t demand it be mandatory,” he told reporters at the time, according to Breitbart News.

Now Biden wants to require sports venues and entertainment destinations to require proof of vaccination. He also called on governors to require school staff members to be vaccinated.

His words will certainly lead to a variety of legal actions as well as likely protests pushing back against the new requirements.
