Video shows Biden’s newly confirmed Massachusetts US attorney railing against reporter

President Joe Biden’s recently confirmed nominee to the post of Massachusetts U.S. Attorney, Rachael Rollins, was reportedly caught on video berating a journalist outside of her home in what at least one report referred to as a “racist tirade.”

In the footage from last year, a reporter was apparently attempting to question Rollins about a prior incident in which she was accused of angrily confronting a white woman outside of a shopping center.

Rollins launched into a lengthy diatribe against the reporter, calling her “some white woman,” and accusing her of endangering Rollins’ children by filming her house. The reporter did not show her house on camera, it should be noted.

“So as a Black woman, in this moment in this country, you’re going to put my f***ing house on screen?” Rollins said.

“I will find your name”

Rollins went on to lambast the reporter for appearing at her home and allegedly putting her family in harm’s way.

“Get away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this, you are on the record for that, or my kids are f***ing killed,” Rollins said to the reporter. “Who do you think you are? This is private property. Get out of here!”

Rollins also said she would make an allegation to the police against the reporter, who then appeared to leave the scene.

“So the rantings of a white woman get you here and scare my children?” she said as the reporter backed away. “Get off our private property, and I swear to God, I’m dead serious. I will find your name.”

Zero Republican support

According to the Boston Herald, Rollins was confirmed by the narrowest margin in the Senate and needed Vice President Kamala Harris to break a tie, which means she had zero Republican support.

It’s not difficult to see why she didn’t receive bipartisan support. Why would anyone want to be represented in government by someone who uses race as an excuse every time she is challenged or confronted about her bad behavior?

It’s a familiar Democratic tactic — and it’s one Americans just won’t stand for.
