‘Every time I see Joe Biden, I see mom’ with dementia: Jeffrey Lord on Biden’s decline

Just about everyone who isn’t blinded by partisanship can see that something isn’t right with President Joe Biden. While many in the media have ignored the elephant in the room, a recent poll found that just 46% of voters believe Biden is mentally fit, as Politico reported.

Former Ronald Reagan administration official and commentator Jeffrey Lord weighed in on Biden’s “sad” cognitive decline, saying it reminds him of his late mother. “Every time I see Joe Biden, I see mom,” he told RT.

Biden avoids test

Biden did not receive a cognitive test during his annual physical, in which his doctor described the visibly frail and confused commander-in-chief as “vigorous,” and “fit.”

The media’s lack of interest in addressing Biden’s health has made for a striking contrast from their treatment of former President Donal Trump, who faced relentless conjecture about his mental condition, and even President Reagan, whose lucidity was questioned in the press years before his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, host of RT’s Eat the Press Steve Malzberg noted.

Despite efforts to cover up Biden’s troubles, the American people can see that something is wrong, Malzberg said. Lord agreed and added that America’s adversaries can also see that Biden’s condition is “dangerous” for America.

“I have to tell you, on a personal note, I took care of my mother until she passed away at 99. She had dementia. And it began — it’s not like a quick drop off a cliff of mental abilities. It’s a gentle decline, and every time I see Joe Biden, I see mom,” he said.

“He gets confused about where he is on occasion, he can’t remember last names. He misspeaks constantly. It’s sad,” he added.

Crisis of leadership

While the White House insists that Biden will run for re-election in 2024, persistent doubts about his fitness have sparked a succession crisis less than a year into his presidency.

At 79, Biden is the oldest president in American history, and he would be into his 80s if he runs again in 2024.

While the media have worked diligently to protect Biden from scrutiny, many Americans have lost confidence in his ability to lead the nation since he rose to the presidency with grandiose, outlandish promises to end the cCOVID-19 pandemic with “science.”

Biden’s cognitive stumbles have become increasingly difficult to ignore as a continuously rising COVID-19 death count, high inflation, and rampant crime have left many seeing the Biden era as a time of broken promises and decline.

Even many Democrats are saying they don’t want Biden to run again, as the Daily Mail noted, and no less than CNN published a list of candidates to possibly replace him.
