Biden finally admits his role in COVID-19 failure

President Joe Biden has now admitted his administration is partly to blame for the failure to end the pandemic after the first year of his presidency.

“This should be another reminder that politicians making grand promises about how they can fix things should always be treated with skepticism,” The Washington Examiner reported on Saturday.

No Federal Solution?

Biden came under attacks from all sides after admitting recently in a meeting with the nation’s governors that the federal government has no solution to ending COVID-19.

Instead, he urged states to take the leadership role in doing what it takes to stop the spread of the virus. The message quickly led to conservatives noting he finally agrees with their message.

Further, conservatives demanded Biden end federal mandates and allow the states to make decisions regarding vaccines and restrictions, a conclusion that has caused the administration new problems.

Now What?

South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem was among the voices that argued that if there is no federal solution, then end mandates.

Noem argued in a Fox News interview that if Biden does not rescind mandates, “we will defeat him in court in January.”

The admission also needs to lead to new action that rolls back federal requirements and allows states to take charge in fighting COVID-19 among Americans.
