Senate Republican Conference Chair Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) said on Wednesday that the Biden administration is firing unvaccinated Border Patrol agents while allowing unvaccinated illegal immigrants to enter our nation, setting a sad double standard for the country.
Barrasso shared the remarks during an interview on Fox News’ “America Reports” on Wednesday.

Double standards
‘The double standards, we’re seeing them at the border right now. Border agents have been fired for not being vaccinated,” the senator said.
“But yet, President Biden has this open-door policy allowing 2 million illegal immigrants into the country last year, at a time he is firing our Border Patrol agents who are trying to enforce the law and keep us safe,” he added.

Getting worse
The news comes as President Joe Biden continues to seek additional funding for COVID-19 relief and proposes a budget to cover future pandemics.
“The administration’s asking for more money. There’s still $160 billion that hasn’t been spent in the so-called COVID relief bill from last year, where only 9% of the money actually went for COVID and a lot of the money went for other liberal things,” Barrasso said.
“It flushed into the economy. That’s how we have this 40-year high in inflation right now,” he added.

The senator also warned in other interviews this week that Biden’s approval rating will drop even more based on increasing gas prices and surging inflation.
The strong words are harsh but represent an accurate picture of what is occurring at the border and what Americans are facing across the country.
