Biden goes back on promise not to mandate COVID vaccines

Surprising no one, President Joe Biden’s push to coerce millions of unwilling Americans to take the coronavirus vaccine is breaking yet another one of his promises.

A video highlighted by the Daily Caller shows Biden vowing back in December to never use the awesome power of the federal government to make vaccines mandatory. Months later, he is doing exactly that.

Shocker: Biden lied about vaccine mandates

It appears that America is the proverbial “frog boiling in a pot slowly,” and Biden is the one raising the temperature. The Daily Caller’s clip shows Biden answering “no” when asked if he would make vaccines mandatory, but he said he would “do everything in my power as president of United States to encourage people to do the right thing.” Take a look:

Biden’s administration maintained that line for months, and as recently as July, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that mandates “are not the role of the federal government.” But Biden is clearly done trying to be persuasive. (When did he start?)

In a dramatic reversal Thursday, Biden gave a vicious and demagogic speech attacking 80 million Americans, about a quarter of the population. He said he would begin requiring private workplaces with more than 100 people to vaccinate their employees or burden those who refuse the shot with weekly testing.

He repeatedly dehumanized those refusing the shot, saying, “our patience is wearing thin” with a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” which he said made his extreme actions necessary. He also encouraged concert venues, movie theaters, and other establishments to start checking vaccination status.

Another broken promise

In August, Biden suspended evictions despite acknowledging that his order was illegal, and his flagrant abuses of power are continuing unchecked.

Biden obviously doesn’t care that he lied, evidently confident that the media will support his bullying campaign against unvaccinated people as legal scholars question his decision.

He has flippantly dismissed the Republicans who have vowed to fight his latest order, as Fox News reports, saying, “Have at it.”

Meanwhile, Biden’s authoritarian move has emboldened America’s unelected god-king, Anthony Fauci, who said Biden’s actions are “moderate” and should be expanded to include a federal no-fly list for unvaccinated people, a concept the White House has not dismissed.

“I would support that if you want to get on a plane and travel with other people that you should be vaccinated,” the doctor said, according to Fox.
