The first big crisis of the Biden administration is here – and the Biden White House is failing in every imaginable way.
As Taliban fighters sweep into Kabul, Biden is missing in action, somewhere on vacation at Camp David. And his handlers aren’t doing such a good job themselves.
One Biden ally, a senior State Department official named Molly Montgomery, is saying what others won’t – or at least she did before she was forced to delete her tweet to cover up the administration’s failure.
“A senior Biden official at the State Department expressed sadness Friday that the administration was “powerless” to protect women and girls in Afghanistan from the Taliban.”
“Deputy Assistant Secretary in the State Department Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Molly Montgomery shared her thoughts on Twitter early Friday morning after reports demonstrated the swiftness of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.”

So far, Biden hasn’t accepted responsibility for the disaster, nor has he indicated that he’ll work to fix it.
Unfortunately, that’s about par for the course in Biden’s America.
