Biden official Tyler Cherry desperately trying to cover up comments comparing cops to 'slave patrols'

White House official Tyler Cherry has found himself in a tight spot and he's in complete damage control mode right now.

The problem for Cherry and other liberals is that he's not doing a very good job.

DailyMail.com is reporting that recently promoted White House associate communications director Tyler Cherry previously called American police the evolution of 'slave patrol,' supported the anti-Israel movement, and called for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Cherry seems to know that he shouldn't have said these things, because ever since his promotion, he's been working hard to pretend the vile posts made by him don't actually represent his political views.

"Past social media posts from when I was younger do not reflect my current views. Period."

Cherry has been extremely defensive on social media since his comments were brought to the public's attention. Tyler seems to be doing anything he can to distance himself from his own words and sucking up to Joe Biden and the rest of America's liberals.

"I support this Administration's agenda - and will continue my communications work focused on our climate and environmental policies," Cherry said.

Despite defending himself by pointing to a change in perspective and growth as a person, Cherry still deleted THOUSANDS of his old social media posts so that America couldn't see the type of rhetoric he's been spouting.

Social Blade reported that Cherry deleted around 2,500 tweets between the evening of June 23 and the morning of June 24.

Cherry has apparently yet to comment on why he deleted the tweets. If Cherry thinks that he has nothing to hide, then why did he delete over 2,000 tweets?

Before Tyler Cherry's promotion in June of 2024, he had spent three years working under Interior Secretary Deb Haaland. His recent promotion to a prominent position on America's federal social media team has thrust his old controversial views into the spotlight.

In January 2015, Cherry wrote: "Police=slave patrol. Voter ID = poll tax."

Another post from 2015 indicates that Cherry was "praying even harder for an end to a capitalistic police state motivated by explicit and implicit racial biases."

Republicans are upset that somebody like this would be allowed in America's government at all. Liberals are upset that Cherry had the audacity to criticize Barack Obama's America back in 2015.
