The Biden administration has given its blessing to the thuggish efforts of pro-abortion extremists to incite violence against the Supreme Court’s conservatives over a draft opinion overturning Roe V. Wade.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki shrugged at the unauthorized leak of the Court’s opinion Thursday and said Biden understands the “passion” of those who exposed the home addresses of the court’s conservatives, New York Post reported
White House endorses doxing of Supreme Court
The characteristically glib Psaki said that calls for “peaceful protests” outside the justices’ homes are not “extreme.”
“The president’s view is that there’s a lot of passion, a lot of fear, a lot of sadness from many, many people across this country about what they saw in that leaked document,” she said.
A far-left group called Ruth Sent Us, named after the late justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, published a map of where the court’s “six extremist justices” live and called for protesters to march outside their homes. (One wonders what Ginsburg would think of activists harassing Supreme Court justices in her name.)
The group, which is offering to pay for protesters to create “artwork,” called for a “diversity of tactics” to “force accountability.” Ruth Sent Us is also planning protests inside of Catholic churches this Sunday.
According to Fox News, police are guarding the justices’ homes. The Supreme Court has already been fenced off and Justice Samuel Alito, who authored the opinion calling Roe “egregiously wrong,” was forced to cancel an event Thursday.
Biden pours fuel on the fire
But Biden has not only failed to condemn the threats coming from the left — he and his Democratic allies are actively pouring fuel on the fire.
In an extraordinarily divisive statement, Biden attacked the Court’s conservatives, and by extension millions of Americans who did not vote for him, as dangerous extremists in what Biden disparagingly called “this MAGA crowd.”
The Biden regime’s contempt for limitations on its power was once again evident from Psaki’s sneering response Thursday when asked to condemn the leaker, who has been praised by the left for trying to intimidate an independent branch of government.
She called attention to the leaker a distraction from “what the actual issue is here, which is fundamental rights.”
The left doesn’t care about the “norms” they’re always preaching about or the rule of law, and they certainly don’t care about “democracy”: the Supreme Court opinion they’re so mad about allows voters to weigh in on abortion for the first time in 50 years. What the left does care about is power and holding on to it by any means necessary.
