Biden snaps at reporter for asking question about kids going back to school

Democratic nominee Joe Biden, the mainstream media’s deemed president-elect, lost his cool with a CBS reporter on Friday.

The incident occurred after the reporter asked Biden a question about children returning to school during the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News reported.

What happened?

In Wilmington, Delaware, on Friday, Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to discuss legislation that they would pursue in a Biden administration.

During a photo-op with the press, CBS News correspondent Bo Erickson asked Biden about the coronavirus as the press were being escorted out of the room.

“Mr. Biden, the COVID task force said it’s safe for students to be in class. Are you going to be encouraging unions to cooperate more to bring kids back to classrooms, sir?” Erickson asked.

Despite it being a completely fair question, Biden refused to answer. Instead, he replied, “Why are you the only guy that always shouts out questions?”

Not the first time

This isn’t the first time Biden has snapped at Erickson for asking him a tough question.

The other incident happened in October following the bombshell New York Post report that appeared to show evidence of a connection between former Vice President Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s shady overseas business dealings.

Although the mainstream media largely insulated Biden from any questions about the Post report, Erickson asked Biden about it following a campaign rally in Michigan.

“I asked Joe Biden: What is your response to the NYPost story about your son, sir?” Erickson tweeted about the incident. “He called it a ‘smear campaign’ and then went after me. ‘I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.'”

It’s obvious Biden is used to the media’s constant softball question and any question that is remotely difficult won’t be tolerated. After four years of non-stop hostility from the media toward President Donald Trump, the double standard is glaring.
