Biden sold nearly 1 million barrels of reserve oil to Hunter Biden linked Chinese firm

The Biden administration sold nearly one million barrels of oil from its reserves to a Chinese-owned company with ties to First Son Hunter Biden.

The news was revealed in a report from the Washington Free Beacon.

The connection

“Biden is connected to Sinopec through BHR Partners, a private equity firm he co-founded in 2013. BHR bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015. Biden at one point owned a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners through his wholly-owned firm, Skaneateles, LLC,” the Free Beacon reported.

“It is unclear whether the younger Biden still has a financial stake in BHR Partners. Biden’s White House has repeatedly claimed throughout 2019 and 2020 that Hunter Biden was out of the equity firm, but Chinese corporate records show he still has a stake in the company,” Breitbart News added.

The impact

Some are now calling for President Joe Biden’s impeachment over the deal.

The oil sale is part of five million barrels sent from the reserve to other nations in Asia and the Middle East during a time when the U.S. has recently experienced record-high gas prices.

According to the White House press secretary, she was unaware of the deal.

The oil shipment is just another example of bad leadership on an issue where Biden is already struggling.
