President Joe Biden has now been in the White House for more than a month, and he’s still leaving Americans confused, amused and concerned as he stammers his way through the job.
In his latest gaffe, Biden was caught on camera botching the names of several Democrats and asking point-blank: “What am I doing here?” Breitbart reported.
Where am I?
Biden was visiting Texas on Friday to show his support for the state after being criticized for a period of absence following a brutal winter storm there. According to Breitbart, the notoriously garrulous Biden made his frustration known as he struggled to read the names of Texas Democrats from a teleprompter.
“Representatives, uh, Sheryl— Shirley Jackson Lee,” Biden said. “Al Green, Sylvia Garcia, Lizzie Pinneli— excuse me, Pinell, and, uh, what am I doing here?”
The president went on, “I’m going to lose track here, and, uh, um— Mayor [Sylvester] Turner, Judge [Lina] Hidalgo, uh, thank you all for welcoming us.” Take a look:

The day before, Biden had to be gently reminded by Vice President Kamala Harris — who critics have likened to his caretaker — to grab his mask before leaving an event, Breitbart reported.
These episodes have left many to criticize a White House that has taken a bizarrely opaque approach with the public that critics allege has a real purpose: Biden is losing his cognitive faculties and is, sadly, not cut out for his extremely important job, many say.
In other news, Vice President Harris has been taking phone calls with foreign leaders on Biden’s behalf, and the president is facing pressure from Democrats to give up sole control of the nuclear codes, according to reports.
The White House is also under fire for not releasing visitor’s logs, Fox News notes, despite Biden’s promise to be more “transparent” than his predecessor.
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump attacked Biden as a mere “puppet” of the most radical elements of American society, and in a speech Sunday, the former president took credit for having predicted the course of Biden’s “disastrous” presidency.
“Last year, I predicted to you that the extremism, corruption, and incompetence of the Biden administration would be literally unprecedented in American history,” Trump said, according to a transcript from Rev. “Unfortunately he has proven me 100% right.”
