Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s plans have been exposed.
A gun-rights group is warning that Biden has made a strategic decision not to talk about the “defund the police” movement until after the Georgia Senate runoff races even though he fully intends to support the movement if he becomes president, the Washington Examiner reported.
“Biden has a secret”
Gun Owners Action Fund, a new super PAC led by former strategist for the National Rifle Association Chris Cox, is the group sounding the alarm on the future Biden administration’s anti-police vision. Cox and his group are currently campaigning in Georgia on behalf of Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Perdue (R-GA).
Cox’s campaign is trying to make sure that gun owners in particular know the devastating consequences of a Democrat-controlled Senate that will result if Democrats win the Georgia runoffs. On Friday, the Gun Owners Action Fund released a radio advertisement warning voters of Biden’s anti-police agenda, the Examiner reported.
“Joe Biden has a secret, and you won’t know about it until after Jan. 5,” the ad narrator says. “It’s defunding the police. But Biden can’t talk about it till after Jan. 5.”
Biden’s own words
In the advertisement, Biden can then be heard saying, “I don’t think we should make that a big issue going into — before Jan. 5, when the election takes place down in Georgia.”
This sound clip comes from a recording captured by The Intercept and released to the public of Biden speaking during a recent conference call with civil rights leaders.
“I also don’t think we should get too far ahead ourselves on dealing with police reform in that, because they’ve already labeled us as being ‘defund the police’ anything we put forward in terms of the organizational structure to change policing — which I promise you, will occur. Promise you,” Biden said, according to The Intercept.
Biden advised the civil rights leaders not to speak about “defund the police” because that’s how the Republicans “beat the living hell out of us across the country,” in House and Senate races.
After Biden is heard speaking in the advertisement, the narrator says:
Biden’s afraid. If Georgians know he’s preparing to defund the police, you’ll reject Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock … If Warnock and Ossoff win, you lose. First, they defund the police. Then they take away your gun rights. How will you protect yourself?
Indeed, this just one of the pivotal issues that are on the line in Georgia this January.
Republican voters in Georgia must take President Donald Trump’s advice to “show up and vote in RECORD numbers!”
