Biden taps domestic policy adviser Susan Rice to lead 'racial equity actions' in government

President Joe Biden just took executive action to further embed the ideals of critical race theory and racial preferences throughout the federal bureaucracy under the euphemistic guise of "equity," which seeks unattainable equal outcomes instead of the longstanding American ideal of equal opportunities for all to make the most of as best they can.

Biden also assigned overseeing this disturbingly racist transformation to his chief Domestic Policy adviser, Susan Rice, RedState reported.

Rice, readers may recall, was a top adviser to former President Barack Obama and had quite a history of being blatantly dishonest with the American people on a wide variety of issues, from the 2012 Benghazi terror attack to the wildly false allegations and smears against former President Donald Trump, and all things in between.

Racial, gender, and environmental "equity"

On Feb. 16, President Biden issued an executive order titled "Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government," which is intended to supplement and make permanent a similarly titled order he issued on his Inauguration Day in 2021.

The order instructs each major department and agency of the federal government to establish an "Agency Equity Team" within 30 days, with each team comprised of senior officials representing all of the various suboffices within the multiple departments and agencies, to be led by a "senior designee" that would be responsible for "delivering equitable outcomes" in every action undertaken.

It would also establish a White House Steering Committee on Equity led by the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy -- Susan Rice -- that would be tasked with coordinating the "Government-wide efforts to advance equity," conducting annual reviews of each agency's "Equity Action Plans," ensuring those plans aligned with or included "environmental justice" and "gender equity," and to " ensure that agencies undertake ambitious and measurable steps to deliver equitable outcomes for the American people."

The order went on to explicitly embed the notion of racial, gender, and environmental "equity" into each and every conceivable government process backed by the threat of federal enforcement action against any and all deemed to be insufficiently aligned with the ideal.

Biden "doubling down" on prioritizing "equity" in all things

The Associated Press reported that President Biden's "equity" order was heralded by Chiraag Bains, his deputy assistant for racial justice and equity, who viewed it as evidence of the president "doubling down" on his Day One order "to put equity at the center of how this government operates."

The order "is a recognition that achieving equity is not a one- or a two-year project. It’s a generational commitment," Bains explained.

Obviously, though, not everybody is pleased with this effort to deeply embed within the federal bureaucracy the notion of "equity" and its underpinnings of critical race theory.

Legal opposition to racist order already launched

The America First Legal organization has vowed "relentless opposition" to President Biden's "equity" order that, in effect, imposes a sort of reversed "Jim Crow" policy of racial discrimination and preferences on virtually everything that the federal government does.

"With the stroke of a pen, Biden has transformed the entire federal government into a DEI cult -- putting equity czars inside virtually every single agency of the executive branch and subordinating every department to the Marxist equity agenda," AFL President Stephen Miller said in a statement. "Every previous law and regulation must now be reinterpreted to ensure racial and gender equity: in other words, to achieve a predetermined racial or gender identity outcome even if it requires ruthless discrimination against American citizens."

"As part of this colossally lawless scheme, the Director of Domestic Policy, Susan Rice, will be leading a White House equity committee to ensure no government activity is left untouched by Biden’s DEI takeover of the government," he continued. "Biden does this all by passing no new laws, let alone constitutional amendments, but by ordering the permanent bureaucracy to follow his written orders to completely remake government in the image of the ultra-woke ultra-radical left."

Miller was joined by AFL Vice President and General Counsel Gene Hamilton, who said, "Apparently under the delusion that they have solved every major problem facing each agency in the federal government -- and with no authorization from Congress to do so -- the Biden Administration is embarking on a wholescale reform of the federal government under the guise of 'equity.' The Biden Administration is clearly committed to radically reshaping the federal government to advance its ideological goals, and we are clearly committed to exposing and stopping their illegal efforts at every turn."
