President Biden yells at reporter over question about payments to migrants

In addition to making confused and jumbled statements, President Joe Biden is also known for losing his temper, a trait that was displayed once again when he was recently questioned about illegal immigration.

In a bizarre moment last month, the president angrily lashed out when asked during a press conference about possible $450,000 payments to migrants under a new program.

A clip posted to the Daily Caller’s Facebook page shows Biden being asked on Nov. 6 if his administration was still considering whether to offer substantial settlements to family members who were separated at the border under former President Donald Trump.

They “deserve” it

“You said last week that this report about migrant families at the border getting payments was ‘garbage,'” Fox News’ David Spunt began before the president quickly cut him off.

“No, I didn’t say that–let’s get it straight,” Biden interjected. “You said everybody coming across the border gets 500 (pause) $450,000, it was the number I was referring to.”

“Now here’s the thing,” Biden went on before beginning to holler and jab his finger out at the reporter aggressively. “If in fact, because of the outrageous behavior of the last administration, you coming across the border whether it was legal or illegal, and YOU LOST YOUR CHILD! YOU LOST YOUR CHILD — GONE!”

“[Then] you deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstances,” the president added in a somewhat calmer voice, adding, “What that will be, I have no idea. I have no idea.”

However, the Daily Caller then followed up that particular footage with another clip in which Biden could be seen telling the same reporter that any suggestion his administration is planning to pay illegal immigrants was, indeed, “garbage.”

Flashback to his first time

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reported that deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed in an exchange with Fox News the administration was considering cash payments as a way to settle lawsuits relating to the Trump administration’s family separation policy, but insisted the figures were lower than had been reported.

This was not the first time that the president began to shout in mid-sentence, as he also did so in March during his first press conference after taking office.

Biden said that part of his reason for seeking office was “to rebuild the backbone of this country, the middle class. Hardworking people and people struggling to get into the middle class. They built this country AND UNIONS BUILT THEM!”
