John Kerry, the former secretary of state and the man that Democrat Joe Biden has selected to be his “climate czar,” recently revealed that the Biden administration will help to bring about the “Great reset.”
Kerry did so during a recent panel discussion about the “Great Reset.” The discussion was led by Borge Brende, the president of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and a leading proponent of the “Great Reset.”
Brende asked Kerry whether calling on Biden to implement the “Great Reset” would be “expecting too much too soon from the new president” or whether Biden can be expected to “deliver.”
“The answer to your question is, no, you’re not expecting too much,” Kerry said. He added:
And yes, it [the Great Reset] will happen. And I think it will happen with greater speed and with greater intensity than a lot of people might imagine. In effect, the citizens of the United States have just done a Great Reset. We’ve done a Great Reset. And it was a record level of voting.”
What is it?
Over the summer, the WEF launched the “Great Reset” initiative. At the time, WEF founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab released an article discussing the idea.
“To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions,” Schwab wrote. “Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
There are several issues that proponents argue make the “Great Reset” necessary, including social problems, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Left unaddressed, these crises, together with COVID-19, will deepen and leave the world even less sustainable, less equal, and more fragile,” Schwab writes. “Incremental measures and ad hoc fixes will not suffice to prevent this scenario. We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems.”
The Hill reports that the “[Great Reset] involves dramatically increasing the power of government through expansive new social programs like the Green New Deal and using vast regulatory schemes and government programs to coerce corporations into supporting left-wing causes.”
Biden is in
Although leaders around the world have come out in support of the “Great Reset,” Biden has been silent.
The Hill reports: “There has been some evidence suggesting that Biden and some of his biggest allies back the Great Reset and would attempt to impose it on the United States. But Biden and his team have never explicitly stated that America would be involved – that is, until now.”
Kerry indeed has made it clear that Biden and his administration will try to bring about the “Great Reset.” The question going forward will be: who is going to stop him? Someone has to, or the American way of life is history.
