Bill O’Reilly slams ‘evil’ Nancy Pelosi over SCOTUS security bill

Bill O’Reilly just tore into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), going so far as to call her “evil,” The Blaze reports

O’Reilly did so during a guest appearance Friday on Glenn Beck’s radio program. There, O’Reilly reacted to the heated exchange that took place this week between Pelosi and a reporter.

In case you missed it…

The exchange between Pelosi and the reporter had to do with Pelosi’s recent decision not to hold a vote in the House on a piece of legislation that would provide extra security for U.S. Supreme Court justices. The legislation had already been passed by the Senate, following the leak of the decision overturning the abortion case Roe v. Wade.

This week, Republicans called for legislation to also be passed in the House following the assassination attempt of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. But, Pelosi has refused to even hold a vote.

On Thursday, a reporter took Pelosi to task over her decision, and things got heated.

“The justices are protected,” Pelosi exclaimed at one point. “This issue is not about the justices, it’s about staff and the rest. The justices are protected; you saw the attorney general even double down on that.”

“There will be a bill,” Pelosi added. “Nobody is in danger over the weekend because of our not having a bill.”

O’Reilly’s take

During his appearance on Beck’s program, O’Reilly argued that House Democrats won’t include in the bill “what they believe is necessary to protect Supreme Court justices and other government officials.”

From there, O’Reilly narrowed his focus to Pelosi.

“And, you know, this woman [Pelosi], I’ve said she’s evil, and maybe this is overstating it, but I don’t think so,” O’Reilly said. “Watching her for decades, I just think she’s an evil woman.”

O’Reilly continued:

A woman who is consumed with power, who has no respect for others with whom she disagrees. No respect. What she did to Trump, how she tried to undermine him, the impeachment fiasco. She doesn’t care about America. It’s all about her power, you know, and it just makes me disgusted.

That’s a sentiment with which many Americans can agree.
