Bob Saget autopsy reveals no use of drugs or foul play

An autopsy into the sudden death of “Full House” dad Bob Saget has revealed no sign of drugs or foul play, according to medical experts.

Saget was found Sunday afternoon in his Florida hotel room and pronounced dead on the scene.

The Statement

“An autopsy was performed this morning on Robert Lane Saget. Mr. Saget is a 65-year-old male, who was found unresponsive in his hotel room,” Joshua Stephany, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola Counties, said in a press release obtained by Fox News.

“The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation,” Stephany said. “At this time, there is no evidence of drug use or foul play.”

“Our condolences go out to Mr. Saget’s loved ones during this difficult time,” the statement concluded, noting that a final report still needs to be completed.

The Response

“I am broken. I am gutted… I will never ever have another friend like him,” co-star and friend John Stamos said over the loss of Saget.

The cast of “Full House” also released a touching statement in honor of Saget.

“Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family,” read the statement, signed by John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger, creator Jeff Franklin, and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.

The sudden death leaves mourning for millions of fans who grew up watching Saget as a loving TV dad.
