Damaging facts in new film “My Son Hunter”

Breitbart News released a feature film this year called My Son Hunter, something it calls “a fact-based dramatization of the life of debauchery and corruption lived by the first son Hunter Biden.”

Although the movie’s producer admits to taking “certain artistic liberties,” Breitbart has stressed that the major events that it portrays are rooted in reality.

Movie covers Hunter Biden’s involvement with Burisma

This past Saturday, the website published the first article in a new series called “True Fact,” which aims to cover the details surrounding Hunter Biden’s life.

The piece goes over Biden’s time working for Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm whose board of directors he joined in 2014.

The article cites a Senate Finance Committee report which noted that Biden employment by Burisma took place even as his then vice president father was serving as the Obama administration’s “public face” in dealing with Ukraine.

State Department official feared Biden could “undercut” U.S. goals in Ukraine

Breitbart pointed out that the potential for problems stemming from this situation did not go unnoticed by the State Department, something which was evident from a 2016 email published by Just the News.

The message was written by George Kent, who was a high-ranking U.S. official within America’s Kiev embassy and later became a star witness in former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment trial.

In it, Kent expressed his concern that allowing the vice president’s son to serve on Burisma’s board of directors might undermine U.S. policy goals in Ukraine.

“The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter’s presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine,” Kent wrote.

A 2021 Politico report also linked Hunter Biden to Blue Star Strategies, a Democratic lobbying firm which is under investigation by the Department of Justice.

Further, the New York Post published emails in 2020 obtained from Biden’s abandoned laptop which indicated that Blue Star passed the details of a conference call involving Joe Biden to Burisma’s board of directors.
