Eight people died at many others were injured during a recent music festival organized by rapper Travis Scott.
In a strange series of events, fan Ireland Baldwin is comparing the entertainer to her own father, Alec Baldwin, who has been at the center of speculation after firing a gun on the set of a movie that led to the death of a cinematographer.
“Incites the rage”
The younger Baldwin voiced her defense of Scott in a social media post portraying him as a victim of “cancel culture” and suggested that her father was in a similar situation.
In the since-deleted Instagram post, she conceded that Scott “incites the rage” at his shows but insisted that he had been unfairly disparaged because of “misinformation.”
Friday’s Astro World concert in Houston, Texas, resulted in a stampede that left eight attendees — including a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old — dead. Dozens more were injured and 11 reportedly went into cardiac arrest.
Just weeks earlier, Alec Baldwin discharged a loaded firearm, killing Halyna Hutchins and injuring another member of the production team while rehearsing a scene for the doomed film Rust.
“See you on the other side”
As for the speculation swirling around the Astro World event, some critics are spreading the theory that Friday’s tragic incident was the result of an evil force.
Concertgoers entered the venue through a massive structure in the image of Scott’s head, which many individuals have noted bears a striking resemblance to a scene depicted by painter Hieronymus Bosch of Christ’s descent into hell.

Scott also performed from a stage decorated to resemble a portal to hell, which displayed the message: “See you on the other side.”
Ireland Baldwin weighed in with her own thoughts, writing: “First, you were armory/stunt coordination pros when it came to the horrific tragedy involving my dad. And now Travis Scott is demonic because he ALLOWED people to die at his show?”
