Dem Senator Mark Kelly votes against border security — again

Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly has repeatedly voted against border security despite serving as a key leader in a border state.

His actions have enabled the Biden administration to continue its policies that have led to record numbers of migrants crossing the southern border.

Do as I say, not as I do

Kelly has been a fairly outspoken critic of the Biden administration’s approach to border security, but when the rubber meets the road, Kelly is all bark and no bite.

“Kelly voted against border security at least three times in 2021 alone,” Breitbard News reported.

“In February of 2021, Kelly voted against an amendment that would have kept the Biden administration from being able to cancel existing border wall contracts,” the report continued.

“In May of the same year, Kelly voted against border security again, this time voting against an amendment that would have prohibited the Biden administration from canceling border wall contracts for which funds had already been appropriated,” Breitbart added.

Risky move

Democrats — especially vulnerable ones like Kelly — are facing an uphill battle both in the upcoming midterm elections and in the looming 2024 contest.

Kelly’s recent moves may hurt him when it comes to reelection, but despite the risk, Kelly continues to operate fully on board with the left’s radical border policies.

The policies have now hurt his own state so much that those in Arizona may decide it’s time to make a change.

All Democrats are on the chopping block this November, and if Kelly isn’t careful, he may find himself out of a job.
