Florida Democratic candidate for Senate Val Demings is under criticism after her security guards pushed a man down at a park.
The incident was captured on video, with a police investigation now underway.

“Democrats want to defund the police but holy cow if you film them in public they’ll have their private security pummel you,” reporter Matthew Foldi tweeted.
The video showed two men taking down a person while clearly being recorded.

“Security officials take potential threats and threatening behavior toward the Chief seriously,” Christian Slater, communications director for the Senate campaign, said, according to Breitbart News.
“In this instance the individual did not respond to multiple requests to leave and charged at security personnel in pursuit of Chief Demings’ approaching vehicle,” he added.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is now reportedly looking into the incident regarding possible charges over the event that occurred earlier this month.
