Here’s bad news for President Joe Biden and his family.
The Daily Caller reports that one Democratic U.S. Senate candidate just made it clear that he supports an investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings.
The U.S. Senate candidate is Dr. Timothy Ursich Jr. He is running in California against Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA).
“Without a shadow of a doubt”
Ursich recently participated in an interview with the Daily Caller in which he expressed his belief that Hunter Biden ought to be investigated.
“I absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, think this should be investigated,” Ursich said. “You can’t pick and choose what’s considered a national security threat based on party affiliation.”
Ursich went on to explain why he believes an investigation of Hunter Biden would be a “win-win.”
“There are two things that would come out of this,” he said. “You’re either going to find issues and resolve issues … or it’s going to be clean slated and you’re going to build such a trust with the current administration. It’s a win-win, really.”
Ursich added that, if Hunter Biden is innocent, then both he and other Democrats should support such an investigation. But, he said that the failure to support such an investigation would suggest that Hunter Biden is guilty of wrongdoing.
While Democrats have been doing their best to keep the Hunter Biden situation on the down low, the Republicans have made it clear that they intend to launch an investigation into Hunter Biden should they win back Congress later this year.
Ursich could end up being the only Democratic Senator to support such an investigation.
Ursich still has to beat Padilla, and he has a long way to go. First, Ursich has to place within the top two spots in the upcoming Democratic primary. Then, he would need to beat Padilla in the general election. The primary will be held on June 7.
If Ursich is elected, then he poses more problems for the Democrats than just the fact that he would support an investigation into Hunter Biden. Ursich is also against illegal immigration and defunding the police.
