NBC News criticized President Joe Biden on Monday for not using his platform to help his fellow Democrats during the midterm elections.
One Democrat reportedly told the outlet they “don’t know where he is” when it comes to helping his party win in November.

“There’s a benefit to having the president out there every day using his executive power to show the country you’re fighting for them,” an anonymous Democratic congressman told NBC News.
“And it’s almost like he’s hiding. He has the bully pulpit, and he’s either hiding behind it or under it. I don’t know where he is,” the report added.
Joe Biden’s approval rating at this point in his presidency is the lowest of any president since at least Dwight Eisenhower.

Biden’s policies failing America
In addition to concerns with Biden not helping his party win the midterms, his low approval numbers seem to make it more of an advantage for many Democrats to avoid being seen with Biden.
While President Biden’s approval rating of 36% is the lowest it’s been in Monmouth’s polling, 47% of adults want Democrats to maintain control of Congress — the same portion who want Republicans to flip control of the body. https://t.co/MVFy9LiWRy

Speculation even continues to grow that a difficult midterm Biden could face a situation where he will not run for reelection in 2024. If so, the battle for the nomination would become the new battle to lead the Democratic Party.

The situation isn’t good for Biden or his party, giving a potential advantage to Republicans for a major comeback in November.
