DHS Secretary says that Biden is looking to secure equity for illegal aliens in the US

According to administration officials President Joe Biden’s national immigration agenda centers around “justice and equity” for those in the United States illegally.

According to Breitbart News Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says that Biden is looking for equity for illegal aliens while speaking at the annual U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C. this week.

The DHS secretary bragged that the so-called “sanctuary country” orders prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting and deporting the bulk of the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States.

Mayorkas said that the order ensures that illegal aliens are shielded from federal immigration law as “a matter of justice and equity” that are a crucial part of the Biden agenda:

On September 30 of this past year … I issued new immigration enforcement guidelines. And in those guidelines, I articulated what I think is a very important principle. That we will not dedicate our limited enforcement resources to apprehend individuals who have been here in this country for many years who have been contributing members of our communities.

“Unlawful presence in the United States, alone, will not be a basis for immigration enforcement action … it is a matter of justice and equity as well,” he continued.

According to Breitbart News, the aliens that the Biden Administration is seeking rights have been proven to be convicted of child sex crimesarmed robbery, drunk driving, burglary, cocaine trafficking, grand theft auto, heroin trafficking, credit card fraud, money laundering, and other crimes.

“I will be coming to you and asking you to consider your noncooperation and see how we can work together,” Mayrokas said.

He also spoke to the mayors of sanctuary cities, saying their policies are no longer necessary because ICA agents are barred from “indiscriminate enforcement” of federal immigration law under the orders.

FAIR US estimates that there are roughly 14.3 million illegal aliens residing within the United States which is notably hear than 2017 estimates of 12.5 million in 2017.

“Based on estimates derived from FAIR’s most recent cost study, illegal immigration is likely imposing a net fiscal burden of at least $131.9 billion annually on U.S. taxpayers,” the publication reported.

“Unless the federal government takes meaningful action to eliminate the incentives that fuel illegal immigration, the total number of illegal aliens residing in the United States could surge to over 21 million by 2025, at a cost of nearly $200 billion, annually.”
