Dick Morris says Hillary Clinton will replace Biden as Democratic nominee

Given his advancing age and obvious mental decline, many observers have expressed doubts that President Joe Biden will seek a second term in 2024.

That’s led to widespread speculation over who might replace Biden on the ballot. However, political consultant and commentator Dick Morris recently said the answer is clear: Hilary Clinton.

Biden run a “disaster”

Morris made that prediction during an interview on Tuesday with Newsmax TV’s “National Report” during which he laid out his case for the former secretary of state’s candidacy.

“Already the Democrats are pressuring Biden not to run because they see what a disaster he would be. And Harris is no better,” Morris insisted.

“And the line of possible alternatives is queuing up. You have Gavin Newsom, governor of California, Jared Polis, the Governor of Colorado, Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary,” he continued

“But ultimately the left is going to have their candidates, and they’ll probably run Sanders or maybe AOC, and that will trigger Hillary into the race in order to save the Democratic Party from the left rerunning the Hillary-Sanders race of 16,” Morris argued,

He added, “And I think Hillary will win that contest.”

Trump gets the nod?

What’s more, Morris also expressed confidence that former President Donald Trump is a virtual shoo-in to get the Republican Party’s nomination.

“He will probably get it by acclamation,” the one-time Clinton advisor said of the former president, stressing, “I don’t think there’ll be a primary. I think she and Trump will face it off, and I think Trump is going to win handily.”

Morris then referenced his new book titled The Return: Trump’s Big 2024 Comeback, saying that it contains “the nuts and bolts of how Donald Trump is going to run and win.”

“Trump gave me the inside story of what he’s planning to do in 2024,” Morris promised. “We developed it together in phone calls and meetings and, and it’s Trump — not one to hold his cards close to his chest.”

He went on to forecast that Trump will conduct his campaign “totally differently in 2024 than we did in ’20.”
