Over the last several years, President Joe Biden has become well known for making bizarre and, at times, nonsensical statements.
While often the subject of mockery, an example last week illustrates just how disturbing Biden’s condition seems to have become.
As TheBlaze reported, Biden appeared on the White House South Lawn last Friday alongside Ketanji Brown Jackson to celebrate her confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Biden’s China story
Yet, when it came time to speak, the president appeared to wander off script and recalled an experience he claimed to have had with China’s dictator during his time as vice president.
“I’ve long said America is a nation that can be defined in a single word,” Biden began, before muttering something unintelligible.
He then caught himself, saying, “Foot–excuse me in the foothills of the Himalayas Xi Jinping. Traveling with him. (Inaudible) traveling 17,000 miles when I was vice president. I don’t know that for a fact.”

TheBlaze noted how after much meandering, Biden eventually explained that the “single word” he had alluded to earlier was “possibilities.”
Cognitively challenged?
For his part, the president has consistently dismissed any suggestion that he is experiencing mental decline, with Fox News quoting him as saying at a January press briefing that he has “no idea” why anyone would doubt his cognitive abilities.
However, former White House physician and current Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson disagrees, insisting that Biden is “not fit to be our president right now.”
“The whole country is seeing his mental cognitive issues on display for over a year now, and there’s really no question in most people’s minds that there’s something going on with him, that he’s not cognitively the same as he used to be and, in my mind, not fit to be our president right now,” Jackson told Fox News Digital in February.
“He looks tired, he looks weak, he looks confused, he’s incoherent, and it sends a message of weakness all over the world, and they’re seizing up on that.”
