The saga of Hunter Biden and his seemingly neverending list of schemes and shady business partners continues to unfold, and this week’s revelations are some of the most eye-opening to date.
According to the New York Post, while his father, Joe Biden, was vice president, Hunter Biden had visited Russia and met with no less than four powerful Russian oligarchs — all of whom had ties to Vladimir Putin — and the outlet reported that one of those shady characters is now wanted for murder.
The meeting took place in 2012, and was held at one of Hunter Biden’s holding companies in Moscow. The oligarch with whom he met, Telman Ismailov, is reportedly now wanted for a murder.
“Ismailov was accused in 2017 by Russian authorities of paying $2 million for the murder of two entrepreneurs a year earlier,” the Post noted.
The Post noted that “Vladimir Savkin, a shopping mall magnate and Yury Brilev, founder of Lyublino Motors,” were both killed after being driven off the Novorizhskoye highway in Moscow.
Their deaths came in the wake of a reported business dispute with Ismailov, the murder suspect.
Ismailov denied the charges, calling them bogus, and claimed thee charges were “a result of political and economic persecution by the Russian Federation.”
In February of this year, Ismailov was granted asylum by Montenegro, a rugged, mountainous country located in Southeast Europe.
What’s the Biden connection?
To this day, it’s still unclear why Hunter Biden would have met with such a dark and shady character during his trip to Russia.
The only known fact is that Hunter Biden was in Russia as part of a trip to raise capital for Rosemont Realty, an offshoot of Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Partners.
Of course, critics contend that Hunter Biden was fully engaged in selling access to his father, the U.S. vice president, which is the only reason a powerful, wealthy Russian oligarch would have even been remotely interested in shaking hands with Hunter at the time.
According to official logs, just a few days after returning home from his trip to Russia, Hunter Biden met with his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, at his home at the Naval Observatory.
