Elon Musk pushes back on sexual assault claim

Fox Business has reported that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was accused of sexually assaulting a former flight attendant 6 years ago

The billionaire has denied her accusation, however, and his defense has sent some leftists into a tizzy.

The alleged incident took place on a corporate flight

According to Fox Business, SpaceX paid $250,000 as part of a confidential severance agreement with the woman in 2018. That stemmed from an incident that was said to have happened aboard a SpaceX corporate jet two years earlier.

She claimed that Musk exposed himself during a massage and then began to rub her leg without her consent. She also said that Musk had propositioned her.

The allegation finally came to light this week when a friend of the former flight attendant provided the story to Business Insider.

Musk responded by telling Business Insider, “If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light.” He went on to call the story a “politically motivated hit piece.”

The CEO went further in a tweet and demanded that the woman describe some feature of his body that is not publicly known.

A feminist website says Musk’s response was “the grossest possible”

Musk had earlier predicted that he would become the focus of attacks after announcing that he planned to start voting Republican.

Musk’s reply hasn’t gone over well with his critics. Rachel Olding is a contributor for the left-leaning Daily Beast, and she pointed to another tweet from Musk as evidence that he found the woman’s allegation “hilarious.”

Also unimpressed was the feminist website Mary Sue, which complained that Musk had provided “the grossest possible response.
