Justin Trudeau flees for ‘undisclosed location’ as thousands protest in Canadian capital

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau fled the seat of government in disgrace this weekend as a massive “Freedom Convoy” of truckers arrived in the country’s capital for an awe-inspiring protest against tyrannical COVID-19 restrictions.

According to reports, Trudeau went into hiding at a secret location as thousands of citizens assembled in Ottawa for a peaceful and jubilant display of civil disobedience.

Trudeau flees over massive trucker protest

Trudeau had dismissed the convoy as representing a “fringe minority” with “unacceptable views” as the truckers traversed Canada from Vancouver, Fox News reported, in response to a vaccine mandate for truckers.

When the convoy arrived in Ottawa this weekend after several days of driving, it was met by some 10,000 protesters who defied frigid weather to demand freedom from the embattled prime minister.

While the exact size of the convoy is unclear, it was large enough to effectively shut down the city’s downtown and prompt Trudeau to leave his Ottawa home in the area for an “undisclosed location” Saturday.

Despite thuggish attempts by the Canadian government and media to depict the protests as violent, extreme, and even the work of Russian saboteurs, the thousands of ordinary citizens who gathered to peacefully demand their lives and freedoms back from Trudeau’s authoritarian government appeared anything but “fringe.” Inspiring, joyful scenes of fireworks going off and truckers honking their horns in solidarity with massive crowds of demonstrators went viral on social media through the weekend.

Cowardly leader seeks to smear protesters

The brave truckers even received a shout-out from former U.S. President Donald Trump at a rally in Texas Saturday night, Fox News reported. “The Canadian truckers — you’ve been reading about it — who are resisting, bravely, these lawless mandates are doing more to defend American freedom than our own leaders by far,” Trump said. “And we want those great Canadian truckers to know that we are with them all the way.”

As the protests continued Monday, the cowardly Trudeau re-emerged to paint the demonstrators as violent people spreading “hateful rhetoric.”

The protests have inspired people all over the Western world who are fed up with almost two years of increasingly authoritarian, demoralizing restrictions, with reports emerging that truckers in other countries, including America, plan to follow suit.

In Canada, which has some of the most draconian policies in the world, unvaccinated people are not allowed to board planes or trains, and in Quebec, they must be “accompanied at all times” while grocery shopping and even face a “health tax.”
