Former CNN host arrested over hit-and-run incident

A former CNN International anchor was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, for an alleged hit-and-run incident.

Felicia Taylor was arrested on July 28 after running into a vehicle with her white Mercedes, according to Page Six.

The report

“His vehicle was struck from behind by the white Mercedes. The impact caused [him] to strike the steering wheel, causing multiple complaints of injuries,” the report states.

However, following the impact, Taylor’s Mercedes was seen “fleeing the scene of the accident without rendering aid or stopping to provide information,” the report adds.

The arrest

“Taylor was arrested and taken to Palm Beach County Jail, where she was charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury,” Daily Mail reported.

“She was released on $3,000 bail and has entered a not guilty plea,” the report added.

The Daily Mail also noted that Taylor was charged with an aggravated DWI charge (driving while under the influence) in 2015 after she a different car accident.

The incident offers a look at concerns related to another former CNN host following a year of multiple problems among key network staff.
