‘Get out!’: Ilhan Omar heckled by crowd of Somalis at music festival

Far-left congresswoman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was heckled by a crowd of Somalis at a music festival on Saturday night.

The Democrat, who is a refugee from Somalia, was booed for nearly three minutes by angry constituents who told her to “get the f**k out of here.”

Omar heckled by crowd

Omar probably was not anticipating such a hostile reception at Somali singer Soldaan Seraar’s concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

She shared a brief, fourteen-second version of what happened on Twitter in which some booing is audible. The crowd did not die down for at least three minutes after Omar and her husband walked on stage.

Omar smiled and laughed nervously as she tried to speak over the crowd, but the audience, shouting “get out” repeatedly, wasn’t having it.

“OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, we don’t have all night,” she said, making a “settle down” motion.

Has Omar lost Minnesota’s Somalis?

One of the most polarizing Democrats in Congress, Omar has offended many with her extreme, anti-American rhetoric since she entered Congress a few years ago. She infamously described the September 11, 2001, terror attacks as “some people who did something.”

It would appear that Omar has now lost many in Minnesota’s sizable Somali community, despite her being the first Somali elected to Congress.

It’s not hard to see why Muslims might take issue with Omar, a Muslim, for embracing the far-left liberal agenda on abortions and the alphabet soup of LGBTQ+ rights.

“This’s what she gets for trading her Godly, Conservative values for the sinful LGBTQIA’s & the promiscuous abortionists,” said Shukri Abdirahman, a Republican running to unseat Omar.

Omar isn’t exactly the picture of morality in her personal life, either. She and her current husband, Democratic consultant Tim Mynett, were both married when they began an affair. In Islam, adultery is a grave sin punishable by flogging.
