A former Fox News host and the current chair of the Trump Victory Finance Committee for 2020 just made a revelation that must have been a shock for liberals everywhere.
During an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily on Saturday, Kimberly Guilfoyle opined that leftist spectacles such as Saturday’s “Women’s March” events ultimately end up alienating large segments of the American electorate — and the proof, she says, can be found in 2020 fundraising numbers.
Wake up, leftists
Guilfoyle’s comments came in a response to an observation by host Matt Boyle that the Women’s March and affiliated rallies that take place every year around the country seem “like they’re kind of losing support as each year goes by that they do them.”
“Let them talk. Let the leftist activists [and] the Hollywood crazies talk,” Guilfoyle said, according to Breitbart. “Remember that? Madonna and all the rest of them carrying on? The more they talk and say things like that, the more it turns off the American people.”
According to Guilfoyle, such groups are all bluster and no action, and it shows whenever something meaningful happens, such as a national election.
“When you think about it, what do they have to say?” she said. “They talk about burning down the White House and how they’re going to leave the country. Well, tick-tock; we’re waiting. It’s not relatable to the hard-working men and women in this country, the people who are actually seeing a benefit in their pocketbook, in their paycheck, [and] in their discretionary spending.”
Proof in the pudding
According to Guilfoyle, not only does the radical left’s message fall on deaf ears when it comes to the average American voter, but it is also part of the reason why Trump’s campaign is dominating its opposition on the fundraising front.
“It has been, really, a boon for us in terms of the fundraising that we’ve been able to do,” Guilfoyle said, “because the American people are tired of it. They’re tired of the nonsense.”
Guilfoyle went on to provide some first-hand evidence, explaining how some members of the Trump family, including Donald Jr., Eric, and Lara, recently did a “call day” that brought in $25 million.
This, said Guilfoyle, stands in stark contrast to the Dems, who “have wasted millions and millions of dollars” on such candidates — or former candidates — as Sens. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Kamala Harris (D-CA).
For this reason, Republicans are no doubt hoping that the Dems keep following the same ineffective playbook, paving an easy path to a Trump victory in 2020.
Although at this point Guilfoyle’s message is a common one, every time it is conveyed, it must come as another harsh wakeup call to liberal Democrats who prefer to keep turning a blind eye to the truth.
