Fox News host Sean Hannity shocked his fans when he revealed his personal fears about the upcoming election in an appearance with fellow conservative talk show host Mark Levin last week.
“I have a five-alarm fire in my heart, my mind and my soul right now for this country,” Hannity candidly told Levin, continuing to explain the concerns he has about a potential Biden presidency.
Right-leaning media figures have recently amplified concerns that Joe Biden is nothing more than a Trojan horse for leftist strategists to install one of their own in the White House by way of Biden’s VP.
Hannity explained: “The … stated policies in this election of this very feeble, very confused, seemingly very weak Joe Biden, if they are ever implemented — Mark Levin, you know [what they mean] because you’ve written the books on statism and you have written the books on liberty and tyranny.”
“Whenever you have socialism, radicalism, statism, that [tyranny] is usually what follows thereafter,” Hannity continued. “I think everything that has made this country great, everything that has made us the shining city on the hill, is riding on this election.”
Biden pledged to be one of the most progressive presidents in history at a campaign speech in Delaware on Thursday, confirming the GOP’s worst fears.
“I think I have laid out the most detailed plans on the economy and on issues related to health care and the rest of any president in modern history,” Bident told attendees of the event.
“I mean it awfully detailed. If I’m elected and this passes, I’m going to be good to go down as one of the most progressive presidents in American history,” he promised.
Sounding the alarm
Hannity warned that Joe Biden has been in government for decades, and Democrat leaders have made it clear what their agenda is.
“I’ll ask every American watching ‘Live, Liberty & Levin’, what has Schumer, Pelosi, and Joe Biden accomplished? Because combined, they’ve been in the swamp in Washington, Mark, for 125 years.”
“Wherever it has been implemented … the results have been catastrophic,” he said of the Democrat platform that has recently veered toward socialism.
Hannity decried the notion that socialism will improve the conditions in the US, pointing out that Americans can already see the results of decades of Democrat rule in many major US cities:
Well, OK, let’s look at the history of how government in this country alone is now working. You know, we see the anarchy. We see the violence. New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles. It’s unfolding right before our very eyes. What do all of those cities have in common? They’ve all been run by liberal Democrats now for decades.
