Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity shared what he described as a crucial message with his audience this week regarding the future of the United States.
Should presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden win November’s election, Hannity claimed, the following 100 days could very well spell the end of the nation as its citizens currently know it.
“I’m going to be very blunt here”
The conservative pundit has previously predicted that a Biden presidency would be steered by radical left-wing extremists, asserting that he has few accomplishments to show for his long record in public office.
As Election Day draws nearer, however, Hannity has ramped up his cautionary rhetoric.
“I’m going to be very blunt here,” he told fellow Fox News personality Greg Jarrett in a recent installment of Live Free or Die with Sean Hannity.
Hannity went on to assert that Biden, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have a combined track record of 125 “years of failure” and cannot be permitted to lead the nation for the next four years.
“If what they are running on is ever implemented, bye-bye American Pie, it’s over,” he claimed. “America as we know it will be changed forever. Irreparable damage will be done if those policies that they’re stating publicly are implemented.”
“Serious as a heart attack”
He made it clear that his warning was not hyperbole, asserting that he was as “serious as a heart attack.”
Hannity’s message echoes that of Trump, who has sought to portray Biden as a vessel of socialists and other radicals intent on destroying the country. Calling his presumptive general-election rival a “puppet of the Left,” Trump recently tweeted that ongoing protests would escalate to the point of no return if Biden is elected president.
“The Fake News Media is trying to portray the Portland and Seattle ‘protesters’ as wonderful, sweet and innocent people just out for a little stroll,” Trump tweeted.
He said that they are, in reality, “sick and deranged Anarchists & Agitators” who can easily be brought under control by the nation’s law enforcement, “but who would destroy our American cities” if left to their own devices under a Biden administration.
While many in the media continue to focus on polls showing Biden with a lead over the incumbent, Trump and allies like Hannity are sure to spend the next few months painting the grim picture of America’s future that they believe a Biden presidency would represent.
