Actor Heath Freeman dead at age 41, publicist confirms

Hollywood was hit with tragic news this week.

According to reports, actor Heath Freeman died in his sleep at the age of 41.

“Filled with deep loyalty, affection, and generosity”

“We are truly devastated at the loss of our beloved Heath Freeman,” said publicist Joe S. Montifiore. “A brillian human being with an intense and soulful spirit, he leaves us with an indelible imprint in our hearts.”

Freeman’s acting credits included television roles on shows like BonesSpartacusERNCIS, and Raising the Bar.

Montifiore described Freeman’s life as “filled with deep loyalty, affection, and generosity towards his faily and friends, and an extraordinary zest for life.”

Friend Shanna Moakler offered some additional details about the end of Freeman’s life in an Instagram post mourning her personal loss. She said her friend will be remembered for his legacy “as a son, brother, uncle, friend, extraordinarily gifted actor and producer, consummate cook, and man with the most infectious and spectacular laugh.”

As Fox News noted, a number of other actors — including Sammi Rotibi, Shane West, Scott Haze, Addison Timlin, and Shiloh Fernandez — also eulogized their late colleague in social media posts.

“Took care of everyone around him”

Freeman was working on new projects, including the upcoming film Terror on the Prairie. Gina Carano worked alongside him on the set of that movie and described him as “gentle” and “brave” in a social media post confirming his death.

She described herself as “so blessed to know him” during their work together and said he “took care of everyone around him” while on the set.

“He was extremely proud of his recent film work and was very excited for the next chapter of his career,” his publicist went on to stress.

Moakler’s statement offered a glimpse into the impact he made on those closest to him.

“May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him,” she wrote. “Heartbroken to hear of the loss of my dear friend Heath Freeman, talented actor, director, producer, outstanding chef and a solid friend. You will be so dearly missed and I will cherish every amazing memory we all had … and we have a lot of great ones!! Godspeed.”
