House Democrats block bill to secure Supreme Court justices despite assassination threat against Brett Kavanaugh

House Democrats blocked a bill to provide extra security to Supreme Court justices and their families on Wednesday, despite a deranged leftist attempting to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh just hours before.

The bill passed the Senate last month by unanimous consent, but it failed to pass the House after Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) blocked a vote on the measure, Breitbart reported.

House Democrats block security for SCOTUS

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called on Democrats to approve the bill “before the sun sets today” and accused Democrats of emboldening the would-be assassin with “apocalyptic rhetoric” about the right to an abortion being rolled back.

“This is exactly the kind of event that many worried that the unhinged, reckless, apocalyptic rhetoric from prominent figures ​t​oward the court​, ​going back many months, and especially in recent weeks, could make more likely,”​ he added. ​

Wednesday’s assassination threat had many looking back at 2020 comments from McConnell’s Democratic counterpart, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), warning that Kavanaugh would “pay the price” of overturning Roe v. Wade. “You won’t know what hit you,” Schumer said.

It appears that at least one man angered by the illicitly leaked Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe took Schumer’s rhetoric as a go-ahead to commit murder.

The California man was arrested near Kavanaugh’s home in the early morning Wednesday and charged with attempted homicide. He was armed with a gun and a knife and admitted to wanting to kill Kavanaugh.

Democrats incite violence

The man was also motivated by a belief that Kavanaugh would loosen gun regulations. Democrats have spent weeks agitating for gun control.

The assassination threat did not stop pro-abortion radicals emboldened by heated rhetoric from President Biden and Democrats in Congress from continuing to menace Kavanaugh outside his home on Wednesday night.

Biden last month said he “encourages” so-called “peaceful protests” outside the homes of conservative justices.

“I know that there’s an outrage right now, I guess, about protests that have been peaceful to date, and we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes and that’s the president’s position,” Biden’s former press secretary Jen Psaki said.

Democrats are openly and unapologetically inciting violence against their political enemies, but they want Americans to believe Republicans are the “extremists.”
