Report: Hunter Biden’s finances under microscope in Arkansas paternity case

An Arkansas paternity suit that recently made headlines is proving to be really bad news for Hunter Biden and his father, former Vice President Joe Biden.

A new report from the New York Post reveals court documents showing that, financially speaking, Hunter Biden may be doing far better than he has previously claimed.

Living large

It turns out that Hunter Biden owns a house in the Hollywood Hills, located in the same neighborhood as show business celebrities such as Ben Affleck, Christina Aguilera, and Halle Berry.

According to the Post, which did some digging into the details of the property, the home is of mid-century design and boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, and “walls of floor-to-ceiling glass windows.” Further, “it sits at the end of a private gated drive.”

The house, the Post reports, is valued at $2.5 million, although it is unclear how much Hunter Biden actually paid for it.

If he did cough up anywhere near that amount, that is pretty good for a guy who has claimed in documents filed with the court that he has not had a job since May 2019 and that, since his 2017 divorce from Kathleen Buhle, he has been burdened with massive debt.

It is also likely not a coincidence that, as the Post reports, the woman who filed the paternity suit against Hunter Biden did so the day after the sale of the house went through, on June 19.

Emptying Hunter’s closet

The woman in question is Lunden Alexis Roberts, a 28-year-old who has worked as an exotic dancer. Roberts bought a lawsuit against Hunter claiming that he is the father of her child and therefore ought to be paying child support.

Hunter Biden has decided not to contest the paternity claim itself — probably a smart move considering that Roberts says she has DNA evidence proving that he is in fact the father, according to Fox News. But the former VP’s son is trying to avoid paying child support, and, as a result, some of his dirty laundry has been put out to air.

Now we know that Hunter Biden owns a Hollywood Hills home, but we’re likely to find out much more. As part of the child support request, Roberts is requesting details about how much money Hunter Biden made while working for the Ukranian energy firm Burisma Holidays, which, of course, is at the center of the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump. Some reports have suggested that he was paid upwards of $83,000 per month.

Roberts is also seeking information about any business dealings Hunter Biden may have had in China, a subject in which many others are interested as well, according to Breitbart.

Accordingly, Roberts’ suit could end up revealing things that Hunter Biden and his father have been trying to keep secret — pieces of information that could end up playing a significant role in the impeachment inquiry. The Hollywood Hills home may truly just be the tip of the iceberg.
