President Joe Biden is taking a sledgehammer to the rule of law and shaking America to its very foundations with a flood of illegal migration that just keeps surging out of control.
More than 1 million illegal immigrants, a population larger than some U.S. states, have crossed the nation’s borders since President Biden came into office, Just the News reports.
It’s a huge number
The population of 1.1 million illegal migrants is bigger than the entire population of Montana, Rhode Island, Delaware, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming, as well as Washington, D.C.
If all of those migrants settled in one place, they would form a city larger than San Jose, California, the 10th largest city in the United States.
If current trends hold, the population would approach 2.3 million, enough to rival Houston, Texas, America’s fourth-largest city. The numbers underscore the catastrophic but predictable consequences of Biden’s insane open borders policy.
From his first day in office, Biden has consciously sought to make illegal immigration as convenient as possible, to the direct detriment of American citizens and their welfare. Thousands of migrants have entered the country without so much as court dates, Axios reported.
Biden’s border crisis is defying history. While it is common for border crossings to drop in the summer, in July the number of illegal crossings once again hit a 20-year high, the Center for Immigration Studies reported, as 210,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the border.
The rule of law? What’s that?
That was an increase from nearly 190,000 in June. July set other records, too.
The number of unaccompanied minors entering the country last month, 19,000, passed a previous record in March when the border crisis received some critical but fleeting news coverage.
The Biden administration has never accepted responsibility for the crisis — which it has sought to blame on Donald Trump, whose strict policies Biden has systematically dismantled — leaving border towns overwhelmed by the surge to shoulder the consequences of Biden’s policies.
Biden’s stunningly reckless immigration policy could only be described as an act of hostility to America. How long can the country continue down this path?
