President Joe Biden’s “America Last” policies have irretrievably damaged his standing with the electorate, Judge Jeanine Pirro said.
The Fox News host shared her take with The Five that Biden’s presidency will effectively be “over” after the midterm elections.
Pirro says it’s “over”
Pirro was reacting to a brutal report in the New York Times about growing “whispers” in the Democratic party about Biden’s fading political prospects.
The Times says that Democrats are souring on Biden 2024, with many Dems “quietly worrying about Mr. Biden’s leadership, his age, and his capability to take the fight to former President Donald J. Trump a second time.”
While the Democrat “cult” whispers about Biden’s failures, the American people are feeling the consequences every day, Pirro said.
Biden has not convinced Americans that he is a leader who is capable of improving their lives, Pirro said. The public can see through Biden’s weak excuses for crushing inflation, which Biden has blamed on Russia, calling it “Putin’s price hike.”
“All the American public wants to know, Joe, what are you going to do about this? How are you going to change this? How are you going to make my life better,” she said.
As Americans struggle to pay for gas, food, and other necessities, Biden is abjectly begging other countries for oil, Pirro said.
“They can’t afford to buy food. They can’t afford to buy groceries. It’s just a mess here. And Joe Biden would have a better shot at it if he at least didn’t depend on other countries for oil,” she said.
The White House relayed to an incredulous public Monday that Biden, 79, still plans to run in 2024. But Pirro concluded that “everything” Biden does “puts America last” and that it’s too late for him to turn public opinion around.
Whether Democrats “whisper” about it or shout, “It’s over for Joe after the midterms,” she said. Pirro’s co-panelist, Jesse Watters, said he is just surprised that it took Democrats this long to realize Biden is in over his head.
“I knew the guy couldn’t cut it when he tripped up the steps three times,” he said.
