Jill Biden demands apology from Fox News host over comments about Joe

First Lady Jill Biden is demanding an apology from Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy after the Fox host said that the first lady failed America by allowing Joe Biden to run for president, People reported

Michael LaRosa, the first lady’s press secretary, tweeted about Campos-Duffy’s comments, saying she and Fox “know better” and should “apologize to the First Lady and leave this kind of talk in the trash where it belongs.”

Campos-Duffy made the comments on Sunday during Fox News programming, referencing the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan and blaming it on Biden’s “mental state.”

“She failed the country”

“If you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband ― to love her husband ― and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in,” Campos-Duffy said. “I think she failed the country as well.”

Campos-Duffy replaced Jedediah Bila in June as a co-host of Fox News Weekend.

Many believe that Joe Biden has shown numerous signs of mental decline since even before the 2020 election, including forgetting common names and stumbling over his words, not to mention his never-ending string of awkward gaffes. Here is a 12-minute compilation of some of the most notable Biden gaffes:

The situation turns

Now that Biden’s seemingly mental decline has essentially resulted in thousands of Americans being trapped in a hostile foreign country run by terrorists, it is becoming clear to many that the current situation with Biden as president is not going to be sustainable.

Even many on the left have lost confidence in Biden — or whoever was really in charge — and some Democrats have even to criticized his Afghanistan debacle. More notably, the media is finally asking him tough questions, though he mostly runs away from them.

It’s also clear that Jill Biden has great influence over her husband, and that she seems to be in somewhat of a caretaker role in addition to her role as his wife. That was evidenced at the G7 summit earlier this year when Joe wandered around like he was lost and was quickly corralled by Jill when people began asking him questions.

Heaven forbid something bad happen to the American troops on the ground in Kabul, but Campos-Duffy wasn’t wrong when she said that Jill could have prevented this fiasco if she had stepped up and stopped Joe from running in the first place.
