Even if Pelosi does stay, it is now clear that Republicans have won the House, meaning she will no longer serve as Speaker.
The congresswoman may wish to stick around, but it could be a good time for her to move.
Pelosi’s current retirement home is in Florida, which was won in a strong defeat of Democrats in the Sunshine State. If she retires, she’ll become the resident under GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis whose policies are the opposite of her own.
