‘He’s just lost’: Former White House physician says Biden’s age is ‘showing aggressively’

Former President Barack Obama’s top doctor has announced his unofficial diagnosis of Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden — and even he sees that “something is not right.”

According to the Washington Examiner, former White House physician Ronny Jackson, who served under both Obama and Donald Trump, said Biden’s mental state has declined so much that he is “not comfortable” with the former vice president leading the country.

The retired Navy rear admiral made his remarks in a new book by Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, entitled Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats’ Defense of the Indefensible. “The best way I can describe him every time I see him is that he’s just lost,” Jackson said of Biden, according to the Examiner.

“These aren’t gaffes anymore”

In its breakdown of Jackson’s comments, the Examiner reported that Jackson vowed not to “make any particular diagnosis about dementia.”

“But what I will say is that something is not right,” the retired naval officer said, citing his history with the former vice president.

“Speaking as someone who was in the White House, [I] saw [Biden] frequently around the West Wing and other places like that,” the doctor recalled, according to the Examiner. “I know he’s always been prone to gaffes, but these aren’t gaffes anymore,” Jackson added, noting that Biden sometimes “can’t form sentences.”

“Sometimes, he can’t complete a thought. I mean, he gets stuck, and he doesn’t know how to get out of the situation that he’s in,” the doctor told Trump Jr., according to the Examiner.

Biden’s “window has closed”

Of course, Jackson said it’s nothing to be ashamed of; we all get old someday, after all. But that doesn’t mean the 77-year-old — who will be 78 on Inauguration Day — is still up for the job.

“His age is showing, and it’s showing aggressively at this point,” Jackson told Don Jr., according to the Examiner. “Maybe there was a window for him to step out and be a candidate for president of the United States, but I’m a firm believer that that window has closed now.”

Biden, who is poised to accept the Democrats’ nomination for the White House on Thursday, has indeed become known for making increasingly bizarre and incoherent statements over the last year, ranging from forgetting what state he is in to telling voters that he is running for a seat in the United States Senate.

Only time will tell if Americans are willing to overlook this on Election Day, but voters at least deserve to know the truth. Sadly, Biden has scoffed at the idea of undergoing a cognitive ability test, as CBS News notes — and as Donald Trump, Jr. acknowledged in his new tell-all, the media certainly isn’t pushing him on it.

“If Trump made even one Joe Biden gaffe, they would never let it go — we would get a full telepsychiatrist diagnosis, ethics be damned,” Don Jr. complained, according to the Examiner. “But for Joe it’s crickets.”
