VP Kamala Harris stopped in New Orleans over the weekend to share life advice and talk abortion, but the event was marred by an embarrassing typo.
Social media users noticed that the word “Louisiana” was misspelled in giant letters on the stage backdrop at the Essence Festival of Culture, the Daily Wire reported.
Harris event marred by typo
Harris shared some more of her trademark wisdom with the crowd about facing adversity after the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade.
She urged those demoralized by the decision not to lose heart.
“Don’t hear, ‘It can’t be done.’ Don’t hear, ‘Nobody like you has done this before,’” she said. “I like to say, ‘I eat no for breakfast.’”
Before changing the world, Harris would be advised to start with a spell check. Underneath her name and title, printed in large letters, were the words, “New Orleans, Lousiana.”
Commenters had some fun with the error, with one tweeting, “Bden Hrris.”
Harris’s never-ending PR disaster
Harris also compared the repeal of Roe v. Wade to slavery, saying both involved the government taking “ownership over human bodies.”
Since her rise to the vice presidency, Harris has attracted a lot of negative attention for a habit of rambling nonsensically. The vice president has an amusing talent for saying a whole lot of nothing.

The deep unpopularity of both Harris and President Biden has sparked an unusually early, frantic search by Democrats for a successor as they prepare to defend the White House in 2024.
“She seems completely useless. No one involved in this administration should be in the running,” a major Democratic donor told The New York Post.
