Presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden is under considerable fire for both the sexual assault allegations made by a former staffer and his observable mental decline. Rumblings of replacing Biden as the nominee have been growing for weeks now.
Political analyst Douglas MacKinnon wrote in a recent op-ed that Democrat insiders have told him Biden’s “political survival is getting more problematic with each passing day,” and mused that a Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama ticket is a plausible solution to the ever-evolving problem.
Time to replace Joe
Due to the increasing issues with Biden’s cognitive health, sexual assault allegations, and waning voter enthusiasm, MacKinnon, who served in the Bush administration as a special assistant for policy and communications at the Pentagon, claims that the 2020 election could be the perfect opportunity for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to take the White House.
He claimed that a Clinton/Obama ticket would “spell trouble for the Trump campaign, continuing that Democrat insiders have told him that Biden dropping out “might not be bad news since they aren’t convinced he can beat Trump in November … And they believe (perhaps a bit wistfully, in some respects) that a Clinton-Obama ticket would be a nightmare for Trump.”
The Democrat party has made removing Trump from office at all costs the only priority of the 2020 election, and it does not seem to matter who will replace him in the Oval Office. As Biden’s electability fades, the buzz to replace him continues to build.
MacKinnon spiked arguments that Obama is ineligible for the position of VP, citing “at least one constitutional expert” that claims the notion is entirely plausible.
Sexual assault allegations
The evidence is growing that the claims made by former Biden staffer Tara Reade are credible. Though establishment Democrats and the mainstream media refused to address the issue for the better part of a month, it’s impossible to ignore at this point.
The Associated Press revealed on Saturday that two more sources have come forward to confirm that Reade told them of the 1993 sexual assault she allegedly experienced at the hands of Biden soon after it happened.
Reade isn’t the first woman to come out with accusations against Biden, though hers are by far the most serious. Early in the 2020 campaign, seven other women came forward to tell their stories of Biden touching or speaking to them inappropriately.
Even if Biden wasn’t the subject of serious sexual assault allegations, the cognitive decline he displays in nearly every public appearance is enough to set off alarm bells in most voters.
Most recently, he repeatedly told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough that coronavirus has taken the lives of 600,000 Americans. The latest data shows that coronavirus deaths have not topped even 250,000 worldwide.
The Democrat establishment knew that Biden has a documented history of acting inappropriately towards women, and still charged ahead with handing him the nomination. Now, as MacKinnon points out, “Some of the smart money may be placed on Joe Biden not becoming the Democrats’ nominee after all. And, at least in a few minds, it may be time for plans “C” and “O.'”
