Biden’s dog bites federal employee for a second time: ‘Major is still adjusting’

Last week, reports from Fox News and elsewhere unveiled allegations that President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, may have violated federal law by lying about his drug habits when purchasing a firearm in 2018. Now, however, Hunter isn’t the only member of the Biden family facing a scandal.

According to the Washington Examiner, one of the president’s two dogs bit a federal employee at the White House this week, the second time such an incident has occurred since Biden took over the Oval Office.

“Still adjusting”

According to the Examiner, 3-year-old Major, one of Biden’s two German shepherds, bit a National Park Service employee on the White House South Lawn on Monday.

“Major is still adjusting to his new surroundings and he nipped someone while on a walk,” the White House said in a statement, according to the Examiner.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the individual was seen by WHMU [the White House Medical Unit] and then returned to work without injury,” the statement added.

A second incident

The announcement comes just weeks after Major was said to have bitten an unnamed member of the White House security team.

According to the Examiner, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki explained on March 9 that Major “was surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual, which was handled by the White House medical unit with no further treatment needed.”

Both Major and fellow first dog Champ Biden were subsequently taken back to Delaware by the first lady for what Psaki characterized as a “previously planned” trip. Champ, for his part, has thus far managed to steer clear of controversy.

Questions remain

While it remains unclear what sort of repercussions Major Biden may face, Republicans aren’t backing down from calls for accountability for the president’s human son regarding his 2018 firearm purchase.

Fox News reports that GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley (IA) and Ron Johnson (WI) demanded in a recent letter to the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies to know if government officials intervened on Hunter Biden’s behalf after his then-girlfriend put the gun in a supermarket trash can.

“After the firearm was discarded, the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) allegedly became involved and sought paperwork from the Federal Firearm Licensee (FFL) connected to Hunter Biden’s purchase of the firearm,” the senators wrote. “The owner of the gun store reportedly ‘refused to supply the paperwork’ to the USSS agents due to suspicion that ‘the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime.'”

For now, it seems there are more questions than answers when it comes to the Biden family. Is this really how “Uncle Joe” wanted to start his presidency?

    1. The dog apparently has been abused by someone in uniform. It is the uniform he is angry at, he just knows a human in uniform hurt him and he makes them pay.

The dog should NOT be euthanized, he is just doing what he was trained, biting , to him, a bad guy. He is smart, he can be retrained. just keep people in uniform away from him till his graduation from training.

  2. Put Hunter to sleep and give the gun to the dog he has good instincts and knows how false the Bidens are if I bought a firearm and lied on the paper work I would be under the jail and I have bought plenty of firearms but drugs are not my thing I had a great family life

  3. Leave the dog in Delaware! How dumb can you get? If the dog bites every stranger, they will eventually have to put him down. Not the dog’s fault, it is the owner’s fault! Or, muzzle him when he is out of the family area of the White House. How hard is that?

  4. Major is a smart dog! He knows that he doesn’t belong in the White House along with his owners. That is what he is trying to tell everybody, the election was a fraudulent election, they need to listen to him. He knows, shepherds are very smart!

  5. But the dog to sleep. that’s what they usually do when a dog bits someone. Just cause he is Biden dog doesn’t justify it in biting people. As far has his drug addict son put his sorry butt in jail just like everyone else would be. Show no favoritism just because who is is. So sick of this!

  6. I believe the dogs and the Bidens should have some training. The bigger focus should be about Hunter and what he and the powers that be are hiding. Or it’ll be like Hillary and evidence will get destroyed.

    1. I’ve pretty much give up, Kim, on any of these devious people getting their rightful comeuppance! The Democrats are enablers, and are all about “do as I say and not as I do; freedom for me, but not for thee.”

  7. Shoot the damn dogs, they shouldn’t be in the WH anyway. German police dogs are very hard noise dogs and will bite at drop of a hat.Lets see ole Joe had a problem with his dogs and so he said and left him with a bad foot.l

  8. Leave Major in the White House and send Joe back to Delaware for some obedience training. Teach him not to lie!!!!!!!

  9. Don’t you love the way they’re trying to downplay this? The dog didn’t “bite”,he “nipped” someone. Twice! But it’s no big deal!

  10. Don’t put the dog down for doing what he is probably trained to do. Send him back to Delaware or train him further and make him into a working security dog. He didn’t nip, good grief. He bit. Now, do the best thing for him, either send him home or train him for service.

  11. He obviously is a very poorly trained dog. It should never take this long to “adjust:” Blame the owners, not the dog

  12. PATTY. It isn’t hard but you are talking about Joe who trained him…
Send Major home and let him live his life. Don’t make the dog pay for stupid owhers. Perhaps Major secretly voted for 45 and is frustrated that his owner is in the house
